Letterpress Project Week 2 (Part 2)
Task 6 – Colour Palettes. Using either Adobe Color or Canva, create a carefully
considered colour palette in response to two of the prompts below. Use your new
knowledge of Colour Theory to inform your decisions and evoke the ideas and
feelings of the prompt. You must use either Adobe Color or Canva colour palette
generator tools to create your colour palette. Take a screenshot of the final palette
and add this on to your blog with a few sentences of writing explaining your choices
using the technical language of colour theory.
(I chose the tasks in bold):
Task 6 Colour Palette Prompts:
1. Someone experiencing loneliness and isolation.
2. A calm stroll through a magical sunlit forest in springtime.
3. A treasured, nostalgic memory.
4. An exciting and dangerous circus performance at night.
Opening Note
This task was a *real* struggle for me to complete and may not be accurate. I feel I don’t know how to use Adobe having never done so before starting this course and I feel that use of this app could be a module of this degree course in itself. I turned to AI for a step-by-step guide but still couldn’t make progress on Adobe Color so tried again on Adobe Color Palette using the following prompt using Perplexity:
